I have always been a weight watcher. As a child I was considered “chubby” but when I see pictures of myself, the “chubby” was a full round face and not necessarily a fat little girl. Anyway, I have always hated “chubby” so it seems likes my whole life I have been on high alert to keep my weight under control.
For years I found a secret to success. Keep active! Burn it off! Therefore over the years I have been an acceptable weight and quite physically fit. I love to jog, walk and dance. So cardio fat burning is easy and fun for me.
But then menopause, my husband retiring, the illness and death of a grandchild came along and my efforts to be fit and thin became sporadic at best. Three years ago I lost 18 lbs my old fashion way by cardio exercising and watching portions. I remembered how good it felt not to be stuffed in my clothes and to look and feel thin. But two months after my wonderful new weight loss I caught a terrible infection, was hospitalized for almost two weeks and had a long recovery. The weight slowly crept up over the next eighteen months and finally I was right back where I started.
Last summer I was inspired to do my success secret all over again but I just couldn’t make a success of it because of trips and dinner parties and too many interruptions in my schedule. Therefore I have hovered at my top weight ever for the last couple of years.
Finally, I am tired of fooling myself thinking I am on a weight loss plan and on my way to losing the pounds when in fact I have good days and bad days with eating and lack of exercise. The scale doesn’t budge. The scale isn’t budging and it’s getting harder and harder to get a pound off.
I have forever been a believer in “natural” everything. I take herbs and vitamins and my favorite kind of doctor is a naturapath. I love to eat healthy and use natural products. I buy organic and try to live a good healthy lifestyle including never using antiperspirant (Only natural baking powder deodorant because it has no aluminum to give me Alsheimer’s. It doesn’t work worth a hooey and I happen to live in Scottsdale AZ. and I sweat the baking powder away before 10:00 am!
A cousin told me about Hcg last summer when she was doing to plan. She was the best advertisement for doing the program. She feels great, looks great and is glad she did it. I know one other person who has successfully kept the weight off after Hcg for three years and one other person who has put the weight back on after Hcg within the year.
For almost year I have toyed with investigating the Hcg program but haven’t done so and then the cousin came to visit. She inspired me to get out of my paradigm and consider another option for weight loss other than twice a day 4 mile runs in the Scottsdale heat and controlling calories. I knew my baby (youngest daughter ) was coming to visit for a month and would support me and maybe even do the program with me. She is going to do the program, we will be a support to each other. My hubby jumped on board and is being supportive and excited for both of us. He is taking our blood pressure everyday so here we go! Hcg? Bring it on!!!!!!
